Our Trip to NY

On Labor Day we went to the big apple for a long weekend. We stayed at Lizzie's (too bad she was away), and had a blast!
We started by crossing the Brooklyn Bridge from Brooklyn, what a perfect opening theme.
The highlights for the kids were (in no particular order): Times Square, taking the subway, the Staten Island ferry and going up the Empire State Building.
For the grownups some hightlights were (in no particular order): MOMA, walking up and down the streets of Manhattan, SOHO, Greenwich Village, Getting to a Brazillian carnival by accident. We hated the subway, btw (it's no fun taking 2 kids and a double stroller in a subway).
